Friendly invoice (Fatura Amiga): Trainning Actions

DECO found that 50 % of consumers have only the bare minimum control over their electricity bill, and 39 % say that it is not easy to read and understand all the information that is provided.
Understanding electricity bills is essential if consumers are to have better control over their consumption and save energy more easily. This is how the FRIENDLY INVOICE information campaign came about, promoted by DECO and supported by the Porto Energy Agency and other energy agencies, with the aim of helping with electricity bills reading and motivating participants to work on this issue with consumers.
Thus, training actions are being carried out for technicians from north to south of the country, who benefit from direct, face-to-face contact with consumers, and therefore contribute to improving the initiative and help consumers with their energy consumption decisions.

These actions are free of charge, certified and specially directed to technicians working for:
• Municipal Councils
• Civil Parish Councils
• Municipal Consumer Information Centres
• Private Social Solidarity Institutions
• Other third sector institutions

A special word of notice goes to the training actions that will be held in Maia on 26 September and in Gondomar on 27 September.
